Essential Blocks Pro

Essential Blocks Pro is the paid version of Essential Blocks, which adds new blocks and advanced features to the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg). It suits sites that want fast, rich pages built in the native editor without a page builder.

What free Essential Blocks includes

The free plugin has more than 60 blocks, including advanced headings, info boxes, tabs, accordions, pricing tables, forms, a post carousel, an Instagram feed and a Fluent Forms block.

Who is it for?

Essential Blocks works only with Gutenberg and does not support other page builders. If you want a block-friendly theme to go with it, Kadence Pro is a good fit. For ready Gutenberg templates, see Templately Pro from the same team.

Delivery and usage

The Lifetime · 1 site option is a license for one WordPress site with no expiry date. At checkout you enter your WordPress site address and the username and password of an administrator account. Essential Blocks Pro is installed on your site and activated with a license. It is a prepared delivery that usually takes 5 to 60 minutes, and we email you when it is done.

Log in once to make sure the details work before you order. We recommend a temporary administrator for this, deleted or given a new password after the setup. More plugins are in the WordPress plugins category.

1. In your WordPress dashboard, create a temporary administrator under Users → Add New User and check that you can log in with it.
2. At checkout, enter the site address and that account's username and password.
3. We email you when the setup is done. Then delete the temporary account or change its password.
4. Under Essential Blocks → Blocks, turn on the blocks you need and switch off the rest.
5. In the block editor, click + and add the Pro blocks from the Essential Blocks category.
