Kadence Pro

Kadence Pro is a premium plugin that sits on top of the free Kadence theme. The vendor's documentation calls it Kadence Theme Pro. The theme itself is free on WordPress.org, and the Pro plugin unlocks extra modules for headers, menus, templates and the shop. It suits people who build with the block editor on a lightweight theme, agencies making client sites and WooCommerce store owners.

Modules in Kadence Pro

You switch modules on one by one under Appearance → Kadence and leave the rest off.

• Header Addons: more than 20 extra elements for the free header builder, such as a second button, contact details, a search bar and a toggle panel.
• Conditional Headers: use different header layouts on different pages.
• Ultimate Menu: build multi-column mega menus.
• Hooked Elements: place content you build with blocks into theme locations such as before or after posts.
• WooCommerce Addons: extra layout and styling options for shop pages.
• Color Palette Switch: a dark mode toggle that lets visitors switch between light and dark palettes.
• Infinite Scroll, Header/Footer Scripts, Local Gravatars and custom settings for archive pages.

Kadence Pro or a classic theme?

The team's older themes, Ascend Premium, Pinnacle Premium and Virtue Premium, are now listed as classic. They still get maintenance and compatibility fixes but no new features. For a new site, the actively developed Kadence theme with the Pro plugin is the better choice.

Kadence Blocks Pro and the vendor's template subscription are separate products and are not part of this license. To speed up your pages, pair it with WP Rocket.

Delivery and use

This option is a license with no end date, tied to one site. At checkout you enter your site address and the username and password of an administrator account. Kadence Pro is then installed and activated on your site with a license. Delivery is prepared by hand, usually within 5 to 60 minutes, and you get an email when the setup is done.

Double-check the login details before you order. We suggest a temporary administrator account that you delete afterwards. The Pro plugin only works while the Kadence theme is active, so if your site runs another theme, expect the design to change and take a backup first.

See more options in the WordPress themes category.

1. Back up your site and create a temporary administrator under Users → Add New.
2. At checkout, enter the site address and that account's username and password.
3. When the setup email arrives, turn on the Pro modules you need under Appearance → Kadence.
4. Adjust headers, menus and colors in Appearance → Customize.
5. Delete the temporary administrator or change its password.
