Choose a directory, subdomain or separate domain for each language. Add a language switcher and use hreflang tags to tell search engines which page is in which language.

Good to know

WPML plans differ in scope. String Translation, WooCommerce and page builder support, for example, are not part of the entry-level plan. If you need one of these, message us before you order. AI automatic translation runs on the word allowance of a WPML account and is not promised as part of this product. WPML works well with Elementor Pro for page design and Rank Math Pro for multilingual SEO settings.

License and delivery

The 1 year · 1 site option covers one WordPress site for one year, counted from the moment the license is installed and activated on your site. At checkout you enter your site address and the username and password of an administrator account. WPML is installed and activated on your site with a license. This is a prepared delivery that usually takes 5 to 60 minutes, and we email you when it is done.

Try logging in with those details once before you order, because wrong details delay the setup. For your safety, create a temporary administrator for this and delete it or change its password afterwards.

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Users → Add New, create a temporary account with the Administrator role and log in with it once to confirm the details.
2. At checkout, enter the site address and the temporary account's username and password.
3. Once the setup email arrives, run the setup wizard under WPML → Languages to choose your default language, extra languages and URL format.
4. Delete the temporary administrator or change its password.
