Ascend Premium

Ascend Premium is a classic WordPress theme that Kadence WP built before the block editor era. It is designed for business and showcase sites that open with full-width images and need plenty of header options. It is a good fit if your site already runs Ascend and you want to keep that design.

What stands out in Ascend Premium

• Header layouts: a classic top header plus a vertical side header on the left or right.
• Transparent header: sits over the hero image and changes as you scroll.
• Sticky and shrinking header: stays in place and gets smaller on scroll.
• A separate mobile header and header content just for the home page.
• Theme Options panel: manage layout, header, logo and portfolio settings without code.
• A portfolio post type and WooCommerce support.
• Works alongside page builders such as Elementor.

Choose it knowing it is a classic theme

Kadence lists Ascend Premium among its classic themes, together with Pinnacle and Virtue. According to the vendor, these themes still get maintenance for compatibility with WordPress and major plugins, but no new features. Block editor support is limited.

For a brand new site, the actively developed Kadence Pro is the longer-term choice. For an image-led portfolio see Pinnacle Premium, and for a store-focused build see Virtue Premium.

Delivery and use

The Lifetime option is a license with no end date, tied to one site. At checkout you enter your WordPress site address and the username and password of an administrator account. Ascend Premium is installed and activated on your site with a license. Delivery is prepared by hand, usually within 5 to 60 minutes, and you get an email when the setup is done. Check the login details before ordering. We suggest a temporary administrator that you delete afterwards. Activating the theme changes how your site looks, so take a backup first.
