Blocksy Pro

Blocksy Pro is the premium version of Creative Themes' free Blocksy theme. Technically it is a plugin called Blocksy Companion Pro, and it runs on top of the free Blocksy theme. It suits people who want a fast, block editor friendly theme and full control over headers, footers and content based on conditions.

Blocksy Pro features

Headers, footers and menus

• Enhanced header builder: create as many headers as you like and assign them to pages with conditions.
• Pro header elements: contacts, divider, language switcher, widgets area, desktop menu drawer and search box.
• Enhanced footer builder: multiple footers with conditional display.
• Advanced Menu: mega menus, icons on menu items and content blocks inside menu columns.

Content blocks and tools

• Content Blocks (Hooks): show content built with your favorite design tool anywhere on the site. Page and user role conditions, an expiry time and fixed positions are supported. You can also build a custom 404 page, header or footer this way.
• Custom Sidebars: assign a different sidebar to each page.
• Fonts: upload your own WOFF fonts, connect Adobe Fonts and serve Google Fonts from your own server.
• Code snippets: add header and footer scripts site-wide or to a single page.

Extensions that depend on the plan

The vendor keeps some extensions for its larger plans. The Shop Extra extension for WooCommerce, Post Types Extra, the Pro starter sites and white label are not promised with this product, so keep that in mind for a store. It works with Elementor Pro as a page builder. If you want a similar setup, also take a look at Kadence Pro.

Delivery and use

The Lifetime option is a license with no end date, tied to one site. At checkout you enter the site address and the username and password of an administrator account. Blocksy Pro is installed and activated on your site with a license. Delivery is prepared by hand, usually within 5 to 60 minutes, and you get an email when it is done. Check the login details before you order, and use a temporary administrator that you delete afterwards. Pro features only work while the Blocksy theme is active.

More themes are in the WordPress themes category.

1. Create a temporary administrator under Users → Add New.
2. At checkout, enter the site address, username and password.
3. When the setup email arrives, open the Extensions tab in the Blocksy menu of your dashboard and enable the extensions you need.
4. Design headers and footers in Appearance → Customize.
5. Delete the temporary administrator.
