ChatGPT Plus is OpenAI's paid individual plan. Compared with the free tier you get more messages, a wider choice of models and priority access when traffic is high. It suits students, developers and content creators who write, code, research or analyze data every day.

Shared or personal account?

The shared account is a Plus account used by other people as well. It works on one device. Because it is shared, you may see suspicious activity warnings and file upload features may be limited. Other users can see the chats, so keep personal information out of it. The one-time code requested at sign-in comes from our support team.

The personal account belongs to you alone and is delivered as an email and password. Your chat history stays yours and file features are fully available. Pick this option for work or school data.

Delivery and use

The account details are delivered digitally to the order in your account. Each option shows its delivery type: automatic delivery lands once payment is confirmed, and prepared delivery usually takes 5 to 60 minutes. The term is one month. With the personal account, sign in for the first time on the day you receive it. Sign-in asks for two-step verification, and you create the code from the verification key in your delivery using a 2FA code generator.

1. Open ChatGPT in a browser or the app and sign in with the email and password from your order.
2. Shared account: Write to our support team with your order number to get the one-time code shown on screen, then enter it.
3. Personal account: Wait on the verification screen that opens after sign-in.
4. When asked for a verification code, paste the verification key from your delivery (the long string after the password) into the 2FA code generator described in the delivery note.
5. Enter the 6-digit code it shows on the ChatGPT screen. The code refreshes quickly, so type it right away.
6. Check in the profile menu at the bottom left that the plan shows Plus.
