Google Gemini Pro is Google's Google AI Pro plan. It gives you stronger models and higher usage limits in the Gemini app, brings AI into Google apps such as Gmail and Docs, and comes with a large amount of cloud storage. It suits students, writers, developers and creators who already work inside their Google account.

Gemini Pro or ChatGPT Plus?

If you live in Gmail, Drive and Docs and also need storage, Gemini Pro covers more ground. If you mainly want a chat and writing assistant, compare it with ChatGPT Plus.

Options and use

• Personal account · 1 month and 1 year: The plan is added to the Google account you enter at checkout. That account must not be a member of a family group on YouTube or any other Google service.
• Activation link · 18 months: This is not a family invite. Join through the link you receive while signed in to your own Google account and the plan activates there.

Each option shows its delivery type: automatic delivery lands once payment is confirmed, and prepared delivery usually takes 5 to 60 minutes. Some of Google's AI features are only available to users aged 18 and over.

1. For a personal account option, enter the email of the Google account the plan should be added to at checkout. Make sure that account is not in a family group.
2. Once it is set up, sign in to Gemini with that account.
3. For the activation link option, open the link you receive while signed in to your own Google account and confirm joining.
4. Check in the Gemini profile menu or on your Google One page that the plan shows Google AI Pro.
