NordVPN Basic

NordVPN Basic is NordVPN's entry plan focused on the VPN itself. It encrypts your internet traffic, hides your IP address and protects your connection on public Wi-Fi. It suits individuals and families who want a VPN on their phone, computer and tablet at the same time.

Key features

• Up to 10 devices at once: One subscription covers your phone, computer, tablet and TV simultaneously.
• NordLynx protocol: NordLynx, built on WireGuard, gives you a fast, encrypted connection.
• Kill switch: Cuts internet access if the VPN drops, so your real IP address is never exposed.
• Threat Protection Lite: While you are connected to the VPN, it blocks domains that serve ads and trackers and known malicious sites.
• No-logs policy: NordVPN runs under a no-logs policy that has passed independent audits.
• Wide platform support: Apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Android TV, plus browser extensions.

Basic or a higher plan?

The Basic plan covers the VPN and basic threat protection. NordVPN's Plus and higher plans add extras such as Threat Protection Pro, which also scans downloads for malware, and the NordPass password manager. Those extras are not part of the Basic code. For a single-device alternative tied to Türkiye, see Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection, and for antivirus see Kaspersky Premium.

Delivery and usage

• Code delivery: NordVPN Basic is delivered as an activation code. The code is delivered digitally to the order in your account.
• Your own account: You redeem the code on the Nord Account activation page with your own email address. If you have no account, one is created along the way. No card or other payment method is needed to activate it.
• Term: Three months, starting when you redeem the code.
• Deadline: Redeem the code within 24 hours of purchase.
• Watch out: The code is applied to the email you enter right away and works only once, so double-check the address first.

Each option shows its delivery type. With automatic delivery the code arrives as soon as payment is confirmed, and prepared delivery usually takes 5 to 60 minutes.
